Show HN: Tilde Pay – Give your AI agent a bank account to pay for things
Posted by solsol94 4 hours ago
hey HN, I'm Daniel - I built Tilde Pay during a hackathon I took part in and couldn't stop working on it. It's an MCP server you can give your AI agent to buy things online with. It can process both x402, MPP payments & (hopefully soon), any card checkout form online.
When you sign up, you get EUR and USD denominated bank account details to send deposits to which convert to USDC within a minute of receipt for your agent to spend in their own crypto wallet. You can then add the MCP server to Hermes, OpenClaw, ChatGPT or Claude really easily.
For example, you can use it to pay for services listed on https://agentic.market/ . My goal is to support traditional card checkout forms so agents could pay on any online retailer.
I built this in a hackathon a few weeks ago and haven't put it down since. Please give it a try and let me know what you think. One of the biggest concerns around AI-driven payments was security and I thought the safest option would be to spin up "sandbox" bank accounts that AI could use to spend instead.
I know this space is quite controversial & hyped up - so please let me know your thoughts and sentiment.
Adios

The security issues and chance for direct harm makes me immediately recoil. "No, never, not even once as a joke." levels of nope. The sort of thing you would hear mentioned and move past without a second thought because obviously no one should or will ever do that.
...and yet it also feels like the sort of thing that could be a common, every day kind of thing. Is this really that different from an automated drop shipping company? A piece of logistics software that makes sure there are always pens and napkins?
I am going to stop thinking about this now. If MCP based automated purchasing is the future, I will let others build it.
