Denver area needs to build far more water retaining features and ways that make the water stay longer (think trees, water deep into the ground, create shade over water w/ solar panels etc). like 2-3 years ago they had more rainfall than Seattle...

When I switched from hose irrigation to drip, my water bill decreased and my yard plants were much happier. It was also fun to put in.
